tan in a can

bought an airbrushing tan from home bargains the other day for 3.99
after examining it my hubby and i decided it looks like sh*t in a can it claims to not go orange , no streaking and makes you look thinner...eww how???

anyway not that i care i gave it a go last night and suprisingly its okay only problem i forgot the mist falls onto the towel i had protecting the floor that i was standing on , and the soles of my feet are black now
anyone else tried something that went wrong for them go on tell us your worst.

Re: tan in a can

You have a Home Bargains too!

The price was right atleast but I would've been a bit wary too, atleast it worked somewhat and hopefully your feet won't be black forever.

Nice story.

Lol you could say you went firewalking? (is that what they call it??) ps what's a 'home bargains'?

I remember the very first time I tried to get my hair bleached... it turned out orange!!!!!!! I can't believe they charged me for it too I went home and used some of my dads 'back to black' and reverted!

Re: tan in a can

funny how the hairdressers charge you for their mistakes ..lol when trying to go from brown to blonde they managed to turn mine pink .
I got peed off with how thick my hair was when i was younger and everytime i asked the hairdressers to thin it they wouldnt so .....in my wisdom i lifted my hair up at the back and used a ladyshave to cut away the bits nearest my skull and hairline i thought if the underneath layers were gone the top layers would lie flatter..instead it looked a mess as you can imagine.
i went to the hairdressers and said " what can you do with this" to which i got a good ole bollocking and they shaved my head back and side's on an number 3 i think and cut the top short like a roxette look. Yes cheap to maintain but took a long time to grow back.
Couldn't have looked that bad though as it was that haircut that attracted by soon to be husband.
