Re: Next game you're looking forward to?

The next game I'm looking forward to right now is Persona 4: The Golden. Though, I'm also getting the Zone of the Enders HD collection and Ragnarok Odyssey too.

Re: Next game you're looking forward to?

Prometheus was better than I expected, I quite liked it, but probaly due to low expectations from the naff reviews!

I hear ACIII is a big disapointment, boring missions (listening in and tailing people for the majority) and a pretty dull and uninspiring World, story etc. Hey Ho, I will still get it to keep up with the series story arc.

Need for Speed Most Wanted is out soon too!! Criterion at the helm so have to get that one even though I have yet to touch XCOM or Dishonoured yet.

Still to finish the last of the Sly trilogy (enjoyable enuff) and Dead or Alive 5 (which is a decent beat em up behind the beautifully bouncing environments!

Re: Next game you're looking forward to?

Most of the people I've heard slam AC3 are the same ones who dislike AC1 and AC2 for the same sorts of things... So if you're an AC1/2 fan, then you might take their comments with NaCl.

See I really want to like and enjoy the film - but this is one film that just had too many gaps and plotholes in it. The main thing bugging me is the lack of common sense by nearly all the crew!
  • Let's just run around wrecklessly take off our helmets on an alien planet
  • Experiment on a head and blow it up - you'd think they'd cut back to it later in the film and one of the crew would have run some sample tests, etc a bit like an homage to Bishop saying it's an amazing creature, before plugging it into the mains and blowing it up
  • Not question what David is doing or making him explain why he's pressing alien buttons?
  • Try and make friends with an evil looking snake creature, even tho all creatures that look like that on earth are generally pretty nasty
  • Open the Prometheus bay doors willy nilly and not follow any kind of quarantine protocol or at least be consistent with it
  • Leave it open to interpretation why the Engineers changed their minds - although I think it's because we're a violent species that's virus like to planets...or something along those lines.
  • Why didn't the ship have any defensive capabilities or weapons - going that far into space you'd think that it might carry a rocket or 2 just incase it came under attack - would have saved on the suicide mission at the end?
  • If there are more Engineer ships on the planet, why did the last Engineer chase down the humans risking his own life and not just go and get in another ship?
  • What did David say to the Engineer? Did it pee the Engineer off or was it gobble-de-gook?!

I could come up with more, but that would mean watching it again...

I heard the story line is meant to be a trilogy by all accounts, but I found myself making assumptions and trying to fill in the gaps myself to make it more believable...

Father Christmas has been asked nicely to deliver both Dishonored and Sleeping Dogs...and I've been a good boy this year....fingers crossed.
