How do you keep fit and healthy?

It's really important to look after yourselves... so what do you do to stay fit and keep healthy?

I'll confess. I don't do much at the mo apart from walking the dog.

But I plan to go back on the detox soon and hopefully, in the summer, will go on some long (3 hour ish) mountain walks again a good few times a week... but I gotta make sure I hit the detox first!

The detox is a regime where no toxins are consumed either by eating or by other ways into the body - like via the skin/nose, so no smoking, no aftershaves/deoderants, unless they are completely natural with no alcohol or aluminimum, no flouride toothpaste etc. And you have to drink 2 ltrs of natural bottles water a day.

I did such a detox about 6 years ago for around 2 years - and it's the best thing I've ever done! Toughest thing I've ever done too!

I like the detox idea a lot do you have a website or anything of sort explaining it in more detail? How long does it last? Are you allowed to eat solids etc? I would love to try that I have tried less stuff before.

I try to stay in shape by running about 3-4 times a week but lately its been more like 2... I stay away from processed food as much as possible as well as soda. I also surf on a semi regular basis (not so much lately but still). I also walk my dog 3 times a day.
My big weakness is coffee. I drink an enormous amount of coffee each day! Trying to cut down.

Walk alot, do 50 press ups / 50 situps in the mornings, lift weights sometimes. Go on walking holidays alot - after GCSE's I'm off to Peru on a trek . Bike rides at weekends sometimes...

My eating isnt too healthy, but its not unhealthy either... I'm not overweight or underweight, could probably do with putting a bit of weight on actually.

I find in many cases, people on the whole are eating well and have a good regime - but a few small things are really holding them back. At a quick glance that would be coffee with you JCAA! With Tom, I'd guess it would be the uncertainty of not knowing what was good/bad for you (I've been there!). For eg people think sandwiches are good for you.. think again!

I am thinking about starting a blog about the detox Jonas... shall I go for it?

I'm not a huge weight lifting guy, but even through my normal lifestyle, I do a lot of walking and cardio work. I've also been tossing around the idea of going to a gym. Maybe this summer I'll get a membership.

I think it be a great blog! You be doing people a huge favor!

I don't think people realize the danger of all the processed food these days! A lot of people also go to the store and see that the organic food cost more and just buy the cheap stuff. I personally try to buy as much organic food as possible. I am lucky to live in an area where we have a farmers market every Sunday and they sell a lot of great produce.

I walk to the car, i get out of the car walk into work. mac Dee, kfc, subway etc...
I walk to the car, i get out of the car walk into my house
that enough exercise for one day

I find myself walking a lot more these days, can't be bothered to wait for jeeps to respawn in battlefield.

errrrrr, I box every Thursaday at my local boxing gym with my boxing buddy and play football every monday so I guess that will do for now.
