What have you watched recently?

As the title says!

Watched Immortals the other day - was really good some excellent fight sequences in there and some of the characters reminded me of video game characters, and the film also reminded me of God of War!

Re: What have you watched recently?

Hasn't that got the new superman in it? Or am I getting confused?

I'm mainly looking forward to Avengers Assemble in April. I recently watched, however, The Troll Hunter...great film! Like a good quality Blair Witch with trolls and not quite as intense. I have a feeling that it'll get a remake by hollywood which won't be as good...but still.

Re: What have you watched recently?

I'm not sure you know the only actors I recognised were, Mickey Rourke, Stephen Dorff, Freida Pinto, and John Hurt. They were all very good tho - if you mean the guy who played Theseus then he's prob a good choice, his acting was al right and he could prob easily play geek & hero.

Film's definitely worth watching even if for the Titan vs Gods fight

I really enjoyed all the Stargate series. I was really disappointed that Universe ended so soon.

I watched Hanna a couple of nights ago. I really liked it.

Not seen Immortals but Theseus is the new Clarke Kent in Man of Steel, don't know anything about him apart from that though.

I too saw Troll Hunter and thought it was excellent. And yes it has already been snapped up to be 'made correctly' by Hollywood, due for release in 2014.

I dunno....hollywood and their meddling ways. Although Let the Right One In got a good treatment, let's hope they've learnt some lessons.

Re Immortals, see I was right Mr Azz. Superman is in it.

I finally got around to watching Pan's Labyrinth, a great film, really enjoyed it...and not at all what I expected the film to be.

Re: What have you watched recently?

Jack and Jill - Adam Sandler needs to hang it up!

The Sitter - Funny film with Jonah Hill, it's completely ridiculous but I think thats the point.

Harold and Kumar 3D Christmas - As above, ridiculous but some good laughs!

The Woman in Black - Felt like I was watching a movie called, "Harry Potter and The Woman in Black"... it's gonna be hard for Daniel Radcliffe to shake the HP! Alright film, few jumpy moments... condsidering there's not much out at the min it's worth a watch.

Tucker and Dale vs Evil - Awesome film! Comedy horror, really liked it.

Tower Heist - Eddie Murphy + Ben Stiller = Good film!

Seen a bunch of others but can't think of them at the minute... want to see 21 Jump Street and The Devil Inside, also hearing good things about "The Hunger Games" but not seen anything about it yet, seems like there's a bit of hype around it.

Re: What have you watched recently?

Zero dark 30 is quite good, bit procedural until the raid on usamas house at which point it is like playing call of duty!

Lincoln is good, bit low key but interesting topic

Django unchained was awesome, didn't seem too long at all and Christophe waltz was brilliant in it. Samuel l jackson was good too in a role unlike anything else I've seen him in

Oh and I did eventually get to see 21 jump st mentioned in that last post! Lol, liked that too
