Steve Jobs' 2005 Stanford Commencement Address

Steve Jobs was an amazing visionary and the reason I became a software engineer. My first computer was an Apple II+ in 1980 when I was 11 years old.

The world is a better place because of Steve and his visions.

Apple also recently put a charitable donation matching policy into effect that will match employee charitable donations up to $10,000 annually.

This is the entire speech and is so inspiring but if you don't have time to watch the whole thing, you have to listen to the third story he tells which starts at 9:00.

Re: Steve Jobs' 2005 Stanford Commencement Address

Hi Vinton - I've seen that before. Here's the third story by itself:

I disagreed with a lot Steve Jobs (and Apple) did, but love OS X and there's no denying the products are exceptional quality, and that he and his team had great vision. I hope Apple can continue to do great things. RIP Steve.
