Re: Playstation Vita

I just noticed something with Motorstorm RC. It seems like there's two separate trophy pools for it. I don't know if they're double-counted in the stats, but there's two separate rows when you look in the trophy viewer, and when you load up the other version, you get all of the trophies you earned it the first version.

I wonder if it's the same in all of the cross-play games when they come out? I know there's only 2 of them so far.

Re: Playstation Vita

They did a drop test on a vita from 4 feet, 3 separate drops. Survived with no problems that they encountered.

All cross play games will be like that. I am not really sure if I like that, at least, the way it is organized.

I'd like if they just had one icon for both PS3 + Vita and showed like a number next to the icon to indicate you've got it for both.

I didn't think all cross play games where this way. The other currently available cross play game doesnt do it does it?

I think it is stupid. I csan play MS RC on my Vita, earn a few trophies, load up the game on my PS3 and sit at the menu screen while the same trophies ping up for my PS3 version. So basically each game with this functionality gives you double points for your trophies. Doesn;t make sense.

Re: Playstation Vita

Following on from my last post I think the reason that the two trophy sets work this was is that cross play games let you continue your progress on either machine and so needs to keep both games trophies in line with each other.

If this is why I don't understand why both games don't have one combined trophy list.

I know that's why they sync up like that. I'm more interested in the fact that there's two trophy sets, so now people will be able to play certain games and double their trophy output. I think that some people would consider that a positive.

I got stuck twice because I didn't know there was some new mechanic that I needed to continue.
I was wrong about Uncharted. The lack of audio on the demo really made it less than fun, but once I started playing the actual game... It's no Uncharted 2/3, but it definitely rivals Uncharted 1.

The boss fights where you swipe the whole time with the touch screen are really annoying, as they're not always precise, but as a whole, it's pretty good.

Also, the weapon expert stuff is a bit stupid. They want you to do 70 kills with the SAS, but you hardly ever get an SAS in the game. By the end, the most kills I got was with the sniper rifle, as the game is chock full of sniping sections. 200 kills with the GAU-19? Insanity!

I've finished it on Crushing mode now, and am just working on cleaning up the trophies so I can platinum it.

Re: Playstation Vita

Anyone getting Sound Shapes for the Vita? I'm rushing home to get this game. Looks Awesome.

Got some great reviews as well.

It's been a while since I have shown my face here. How is every one?

It's on my list of games to buy.

Pretty good. I've been really busy though. 4 Platinums since June, 13 total games finished in that time. All while I was working 52-56 hours a week solid.
