Short term however:

be a successful parent - little one due in the next few weeks
buy a house and stop wasting money on renting
get married
play and complete all my ps3 games that I own and will own
and I'll join in - get a sixpack before I'm 30!
Retiring at 50 - not possible, however 60 might be.
Successful parent - well she's happy and doing all the things babies should be doing.
Buy a house - deposit is building up nicely, not too long now, although has the housing market bottomed out yet?
Play and complete all my games - I'm still working on this, GTAIV, Resistance2, etc, etc.
Sixpack - bought a slendertone - and it works - sixpack here I come!

Re: Things you want to do...

Lol I've got a slendertone - but haven't used it for years. Better off getting a 19 sit up bench from argos imo http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Produc...7C14419293.htm

Slendetones certainly make you tense your muscles, and sometimes they hurt like a workout, but even on the highest setting they never really 'showed' anything have had much better results with the ab board in a lot less time. Inc workout time - only do a few minutes on the ab board every few days - I used to use the slendertone for about an hour every day (I used to do 2 cycles as one never seemed enough).

Also the ab board folds up and you can stand it up on the side. That and my exercise bike has been my best fitness purchases ever - although really I should add my Walkman to that cos without the awesome sound of that I wouldn't stay anywhere near as long on the bike (often up to an hour). Bike is a cheapy carl lewis one only cost about 49! The walkman is a must tho - otherwise you'll get bored. Also don't listen to the walkman any other time, as that helps in you looking forward to your music time.

Maybe it wouldn't work for everyone but it has really helped me a lot.

Re: Things you want to do...

I'm already seeing a difference with the slendertone - only on the intermediate setting and intensity level 35 (out of 99). This is the slendertone flex (49.99).

It really worked the muscles last night and I can easily see the return on such a small investment, I've used an ab board and I've used a weight machine for my abs and nothing has shown results as quick as this.

Azz, perhaps you were overdoing it and not taking a break inbetween - your muscles need time to recover...I do 3 days on, one day break, 2 days on, 1 day break each week or perhaps if you've already got a 4pack you're not going to notice anything quickly...4-6months should do it. I'm hooked on it, it's a bizarre tingly sensation that's most addictive. Obviously it's not going to make me lose weight...so I'll have to work on that if I'm ever going to see all 6 or 8 muscles!

I'm going to start biking once I've got a house (#3 on my list)...nowhere to store a bike at the moment...but I think I'll get out in the fresh air and explore rather than stay indoors on an exercise bike - not quite as cheap as I'll need a good bike but more enjoyable.

I love biking especially through the woods where you can rip shit up I tend to use the exercise bike in the week then off out at the weekend.

Re: Things you want to do...

I never used to do it if my abs were hurting from a previous workout - same principle I use for the ab board :-/ I think mines the flex too - although I paid over 100, but that was a few years ago. Glad it's working for you - just never really did for me, no idea why as like I said it really does make you contact those muscles!

I would prefer to use a proper bike too - but I hate the cold, and we seem to get nothing but that here! So out of the two, no exercise or exercise - I went with exercise

Good luck

And living in Wales with all that rain probably doesn't help the cause either

Re: Things you want to do...

Tell me about it - think next move will be as further south as I can get, or even abroad!

Where's that Mr 6 pack Stuie - thought he might chime in with some tips!
