Which features of the forum are important to you?

If we stripped everything away from the forum (apart from being able to start a thread/post replies to a thread) which bits would you miss/like to get added back in the most?

(Smilies/reply notifications/friends lists/social groups/rss feeds/etc/etc)

Maybe you could list them along with _how_much_ you'd miss them if we didn't have them.

I wouldn't be too fussed about the social groups and rss feeds, and as long as I could still post pictures and videos I would be happy. The latest post button would be missed.

Just need the basics, smilies and latest posts really.

Don't use social groups and don't want RSS feeds or post notifications.

Pretty much what the other guys said, smilies and latest posts. Dont think anything else gets used that much tbh.

What about things like platforms owned and sigs that show with each post - how about the 'nice' profiles?

For platforms owned and the profiles, they are a good idea for when someone first joins the site, helps them to get to know everyone, but after you've been a member a while you get the general idea of which people own which consoles because of what and where they post.

Im not so sure about the sigs, I tend to ignore them I think, but I think it would be nice if there was a space for trophy cards somewhere.

I don't like seeing trophy cards in sigs makes the pages un-tidy, better suited to profiles imo. GS has a very clean look to it's posts that make it easier to read.

I agree that it shouldnt be in the sigs, so that the site keeps clean, but it would be nice to have in on the profiles or something, which there doesnt seem to be at the moment.

Didnt we have LIVE tags with Gamesey profiles?

Yeah (just never got round to adding them back in) - MS ones have a standardised international format, but PSN ones don't which makes it a pain :-/
