Re: MacBook Air

Guys, before you buy it, think about it.

I mean, it is so thin, that they have to make it a 1.6 GHz because it will get way too hot if they make it a 2.4 or at least a 2.2. So, there are some advantages and disadvantages. It is small and thin, but slow.

Optional: 1.8 GHz

:::The UK Price is outrageous. We Americans who want to buy it, that price of ₤1,199, that is $2,398. Much better to buy it online or in the states. Also, if military, in your local AAFES:::

Re: MacBook Air

It's already been touted as a flop by many...

Classic case of style over substance. Big time!

Re: MacBook Air

It is a cracking design and I can see why everyone would want this! BUT would rather just leave it for at least a year and see where it go's model and price-wise, you can get so much more for your money, right now this piece of kit if for the people who have money to throw away!

Ideal for web use and sooo affordable!
I own two of them! One with XP Pro the other is the default Xandros OS, which I prefer to be honest!

Very small and easy to carry round anywhere!
