The nice thing about having 4 major translation-only studios here in the US like Atlus, Xseed, Mastiff, and NIS America is that as long as it's not horribly japanese-centric like the interactive novels and dating sims, it usually manages to make its way over here...

I have this game since march, finished it two times already with two different characters. My first try clicked around the 70 hour mark, mainly because I didn't read almost any guides, I was figuring things for myself. The other reason was that I didn't do any online coop: most of the week I played without internet connection and in the weekends the net connection at my parent's house had too much lag to decently play in the Hong Kong servers. Online coop GREATLY diminishes the difficulty of the bosses in this game, because most of them while they attack one of the players, the other players can beat them silly.
My second try went to 25 hours, mostly because I knew exactly what to do, what strategies I had to follow in every level and how to spend those hard earned souls.
The game system is one of the most solid I've ever seen. It's a slow type of combat, driven by your status, the weapon you carry and your stamina. Attack and defense consume stamina, and you can't do either if you don't have any. That means going berserker through the levels is a sure recipe for disaster, because you'll run out of stamina at the worse times or fall into the abundant traps and ambushes the enemies set for you.
The ambientation is superb, it's very dark and disturbing. Everything is dead, all hope is lost... and you aren't some hero sent by the gods to mend things. You are a simple human facing the most terrible and cunning evils, which makes it even more frightening.
It's the best action rpg I've ever played. Period.

Forgot to say that once you finish the game, you automatically start again from the beginning with all your items and experience intact. In this new game + the foes are harder and most can kill you with two single blows (if the game wasn't hard enough before

It's sitting at a 90 right now, pretty solid for an Atlus title.
If it stays at 90, it'll only be the second atlus title to hit the 90 mark. (The first being Persona 4.)
