Rumours going round the net that headsets will be compulsary starting from sometime in the first half of february, not sure whether its true or not but that actually sounds like a good idea to me, maybe not so much for those without a headset.

Seriously that would alienate the majority of users and is just insane. Would make for a better game although is there 256 PS3 owners with headsets?

I figure the headset requirement would be false because otherwise they would of sold the game with a headset. And there would be alot of pee'd off gamers who haven't got one and have just bought the game LOL

As for the game, I am absolutely loving it!!!!!!!!!

How do the factions work? Is it like all the other online shooters or are you always on the same one once you pick one? Are there any regional limits?

If you are permanently on a particular faction, which one is everybody on? I just want to make sure I can play the meets before I get it.

I'll probably go with Valor when I get this but going to war without a shirt seems a little silly. Sorry but they look like they are auditioning for the FPS version of YMCA. Raven definitely got the cool uniforms.

I also went for Valor, although only had a few games over the weekend with throb, sidey and Smak. After one game though my headset wouldn't connect up so was left to shout 'medic' in silence. Was all charged up and eveything, just lost connection like Battlefield 1942 did when it first came out.

Did enjoy it though, although need to rank up to level 8 to play domination.

Any news on the consumer release date of Fermi LU ?.
